# Check enterprise device capture and data coverage

> Check local capture, uploaded data, and generated reports separately for each pilot device.

Check local capture, uploaded data, and generated reports separately for each pilot device. A successful installation or account login does not prove the day’s work is available in a team view.

## Start here

Create a small device inventory using non-sensitive identifiers. Record the owner, platform, version, account or workspace, agreed test window, and expected input sources.

## Copy this prompt

Use this in Screenpipe chat or an assistant with the required connections. Replace the brackets with your details. If the assistant lacks access, provide a reviewed excerpt; a prompt alone does not connect it to your history.

```text theme={null}
Build a coverage table for these pilot devices: [approved inventory].
For [test window, timezone], separately report installation status, last
verified local capture, transcript availability, remote data availability,
and generated-output status. Use observed timestamps and evidence.
Mark unchecked stages as unknown. Do not equate login with healthy capture,
or a recent upload with complete coverage. Do not change device settings.
```

## Check the result

For each device, locate the same harmless source moment locally and in the intended remote view if your deployment includes one. Record gaps explicitly rather than turning a dashboard timestamp into a completeness claim.

    Device identity and account identity can drift after a reinstall or account change. Match the expected workspace and device before diagnosing missing uploads. Keep a timestamped inventory so old devices are not mistaken for current ones.

    For managed deployment, use the applicable [Intune guidance](/intune-deployment) and confirm platform support with your deployment owner. Settings sharing is not a substitute for verifying recorded-data availability or organization-specific access controls.
